The last few weeks have been nothing but harrassment and threats from Nick and trust me, he has been relentless and extremely cruel. Somewhere in this time he punched his mother and his 10 yr old nephew in the face! Nixon witnessed this happen, which really makes me sad.
I got a phone call Thursday informing me that Nick was high as a kite while my friend cut his hair at her salon and she was concerned about him and our son being around him in that state. I heard Thursday night Nick got pulled and the cop found crank, adderrall, and mari jane (although I'm not sure that's true). He is court ordered to be at home when Nixon is in his care, yet he was out partying while his mom was home with our son.
On Friday evening, which happened to be Nixon's birthday, Nick's mother tried to kill herself. This concerns me because Nick lives with his parents and I'm not sure Nixon wasn't exposed to this.
When I picked Nixon up on Saturday evening he looked like he hadn't been bathed the whole time he was gone and Nick was high as a kite. I said nothing, just got Nixon and left.
Sunday morning I went and got a protective order for both Nixon and myself. Tuesday I extended that protective order for 2 more weeks and if Nick doesnt straighten up real soon and get away from the house he lives in with his mother who is suicidal and the drugs, it will be quite some time before Nixon gets to spend time alone with his dad.
This breaks my heart so so so much, but I must protect my baby at all cost.
